Company Profile
Busy Bees was set up by Aine Russell in 1997 as a Montessori school catering for children in the 3-4 year age category in Kilkenny. After constant demand from parents to expand the service to include full day care, Busy Bees Creche and Montessori was set up in Richview, Castlecomer Road, Kilkenny in 2001. Since that time we have been constantly booked as we offer a complete childcare service which caters to the needs of the children and also to that of working parents.
We subsequently won a tender with the IDA to build and operate a facility in their Business and Technology park on the Ring Road in Kilkenny. This state of the art Childcare Centre opened on the 27th September 2004.

A purpose built crèche which was designed in line with the Child Care (Pre School Services) regulations 2006, which opened on 31-3-2008. We caters for children from 3 months to six years of age on a full & part time basis. There are 5 rooms in the building catering for individual age groups the design of the building is based on meeting the individual needs of pre-school children including a secure outdoor play area. There is CCTV throughout the building & we have a clean air system purifying the air on a continual basis. There is a secure entry & exit system in place. We have a healthy eating policy all food is prepared daily on the premises. Each age group has a curriculum based on their development needs; our priority at Toddlers Hill is meeting the individual needs of children.

Our Staff
Our highly qualified and experienced staff offer children care from 7.45am to 6.15pm daily in full and part time child care places. We operate an open door policy so that parents can come to the creche and participate in the care of their children when ever they wish. We encourage parents to call ahead and we will organise lunch for them and their child in our newly built playground. We are competitively priced and offer subsidised child care places for our local community and those in our education, accommodation and youth work programmes.
