What is floatation therapy?
Flotation therapy provides you with Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy, REST, which is a sensory deprivation experience you will not find outside the flotation pool. It is a therapy that takes you away from the stress and disturbances of everyday life. The kind of relaxation that results from an hour in a floatation pool is equivalent to over 4 hours of sleep time.

Our floatation pool is large and airy with a normal glass entrance door (not a lid making it easy for young, old, the able and the less able to get in and out). One of our friendly staff will introduce you to the floating experience. Forget your cares as you drift away. You spend a luxurious hour floating on an Epsom salt solution only 10" deep, but so dense that you cannot help but float effortlessly. A floatation therapy has many benefits. The salt itself has been linked to easing arthritis and improving the condition of the skin as well as detoxifying the system. Flotation therapies are useful in pregnancy, increasing creativity, circulation and energy levels. It creates harmony and homeostasis in the body, balance between left and right brain, balance in the body's skeletal and muscular systems and balance between mind, body and spirit. What to expect
When you arrive for a flotation therapy, you will be shown into the flotation room which has accompanying changing and shower facilities. Whilst we provide towels, organic shampoo and shower gel, you may bring along your own toiletries should you wish to. Our floatation pool is custom designed and built to the highest standard of comfort and cleanliness. The pool is made of marble non-slip mosaic tiling and is situated in a private room within the centre. The use of a custom pool for flotation sets us apart from centers where floatation tanks are commonly used.
