Course Description
This course teaches you how to remove hair using waxing techniques. Anatomy and Physiology of the hair and factors which influence the growth of superfluous hair on the body are explored on this course. Students on this course learn how to :-
Identify contra-indications and contra actions to the treatment and advise the client accordingly. Apply best principles of hygiene practice before, during and after treatment. Analyse hair type and hair growth patterns and select appropriate product. Effectively remove unwanted superfluous hair from the face and body, using waxing(hot wax and warm wax) and sugaring techniques. Advise the client on appropriate after care.
Students are introduced to the art of specialized waxing, Brazillian and Californian.
Professionalism is also covered in this course.
