1 DAY MASTERCLASS IN HAIRSTYLING

This one day master class in fashion and editorial hairstyling will introduce participants to a range of eye-catching hairstyles that can be achieved with the use of basic hair equipment and products.
The workshop will demonstrate how to achieve glamorous up-styles and down-styles suitable for a range of occasions including photo shoots, fashion, catwalk and portfolio work. The programme is suitable for those already working in the beauty, make-up or hairdressing / styling industry and will equip them with additional skills enabling them to maximise job opportunities and earning potential. The course will include: Product information, Hair preparation, Curling the hair using a variety of different rollers and hair tongs, Backcombing, How to achieve perfect quiffs, How to achieve the beehive style, How to achieve dramatic upstyles and downstyles and putting it all together to achieve eye catching hair styles.
Participants will also get to train with Susan Peggs, one of Irelands leading hairstylists. Susan has been working as a Professional Hairdresser for over 23 years with a career expanding internationally between Dublin and Munich. She has vast experience in all aspects of Hairstyling and in recent years has specialised in Bridal and up style Hair Design. She currently works on leading wedding magazines, fashion shows, TV and Corporate Events.
What will you need
Students will need a model from 2pm on the day.

Course fees: €280 or €240 to Academy students or PRG associates payable with application form.
